In one segment, Just the beginning, producer Raquel Ortiz examined bilingual universities on the East and West coasts; in another, Maria Cristina, Lou De Lemos produced a reading by poetess Sandy Esteves from her work. Ochun, produced by Diego de la Texera/Sandino Films and Luis A. Rosario Quiles, was a brief documentary of the rites of “Santeria” in Dorado, Puerto Rico.
