AAPB as a Digital Library for Teaching Media Literacy (2019)

Media studies scholars Kathryn Ostrofsky and Joshua Glick discuss using the AAPB as a digital library for teaching media literacy. The presenters describe lectures, workshops and assignments they have created using programs in the AAPB, and AAPB staff share some of the ways that instructors can navigate students to the collection via special collections, curated exhibits and the website's search, browse and share features.

Wikipedia Edit-a-thon (2020)

Wikipedia Edit-a-thons help to strengthen the quality of Wikipedia, the world’s largest online encyclopedia, and improve the searchability of historic public radio and television collections in the AAPB. The video tutorials explain how to create a Wikipedia user account, edit Wikipedia articles using common conventions, and update Wikipedia articles with relevant items in the AAPB.
