In the third and final hour of this edition of Friday Night Jazz on Vermont Public Radio from Children of the Sun, this came out in the late 2014 and we heard Joe Samples I want to go home. I know that feeling. You ever have those days? Yeah, I know what you mean. Next, as promised, another new release here in the third hour of tonight's show. This is called a collection called the United Shades of Artistry. Some of the musicians involved. Gary Thomas, a saxophonist, lives in Baltimore, teaches at the Peabody Museum. Music, pardon me, Peabody School of Music. There's a Peabody Museum. Played with Miles Davis. I was going to play music from his till we have faces collection along with this. But we'll get back to that down the road. Randy Brecker on trumpet. Oh boy, just a wonderful John Leo in acoustic and electric guitar. Some other folks, the, again, collections called the United Shades of Artistry.
What we're going to listen to is a piece entitled Davis Smile. Music. Music. Music.
