It's going to fader it's going to fader. It's Delina Mosh on 90.3, 91.7, K-E-X-P, Mr. P. Mosh. I'm Mr. Jack Walters here in the K-E-X-P Performance Room with Shoutout Louds. Welcome to K-E-X-P. Thank you. For the radio audience, can we hear everybody's name? Can you introduce yourself is what I'm trying to say? And the instrument you're playing today. I'm Adam. I play the guitar. And that's Eric. He's played the Moroccan things. And I have bebbon beside me. She's played the Glockens feeling. Help me with the vocals. Excellent.
And this is a stripped down version of what people will see tonight. Yes. Excellent. Tonight at the Moore Theater on a bill with secret machines and kings of Leon should be a great show. We'd love to hear what you sound like if you can give us a song. OK. The song is called The Comeback. I'm kind of tired, because you wouldn't let me stay last night. I'm a reasonable man, but I can't believe what on your mind. The past three weeks were in the side of the streets. The words you said were that made me weak. I'm out of my mind.
I'm about to cry. So let's call this call. I've been pushed around, and I'm not gonna get pushed this time. Because the time is mine, but I can't believe what on your mind. The past three weeks were in the side of the streets. The words you said made me weak. I'm out of my mind. I'm about to cry. Let's call this call. Let's call this call.
Let's call this call. Let's call this call. Let's call this call. Let's call this call. Come on. Come on. Bye. Shoutout Loud's live in the studio's a K-E-X-P.
You can see him live tonight at the more along with secret machines and kings of Leon that was the comeback. I think L.L. Cool J said don't call it a comeback and you said let's call it a comeback. Where are you all from? From Stockholm. How did the band start? Are there five altogether? Yeah, the other two are in the bus. Hi. World friends really. So when we went after school, we started this band. I saw something on your website. It said there was really no point in not starting a band. I just thought that was classic. Yeah, I just had some interest in really close friends. So I really like music and playing instruments. That's right. That's great reason. What was there was an original name to the band? It was.
Yeah. Look at Brazil. Yeah. We call it only for like a couple of months. Yeah. Nice. When you started out, did you know right away that songs would be in English? Or was that like a decision that had to be made? No, not really. We just wanted. It was easier. Maybe it started in English. I don't know why, but just the influences like when I grow up on listen to other things, music and American music. And we wanted just to have a chance to do this. Yeah. In Stockholm, how many groups would you find singing in English? Would that be pretty common? Yeah. It's very common. Yeah. Sometimes it's harder to find. So it's things in Swedish. Yeah. Your first release was an EP. Yeah. That was in February 2003. Yeah. An EP with four tracks. Available in the States?
No. No. It was available in Sweden. I think it's so that we only made like 3,000 copies of that. And now this international, this album is going to come out here. Oh, it's already out. But it's like a collection of EP's and the album and some vinyl stuff we release in Sweden. Is that? How how? Yeah. Okay. So that's kind of a collection, actually. Well, the thing is we recorded an EP last year in Sweden called Oh Sweetheart. And we really liked those three songs. So we just wanted to add them on this album. So we had to take away a few and that stuff. So it's kind of collection. It's a little bit different version of it. Yeah. Holds together really well. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You've been over to the States several times. Yeah. Yeah. Right off the bat. What are the obvious differences you see between Sweden and the United States? For the food.
Yeah. Everything is based on how many cars. Based on how many cars. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Um. So there's a few more. We both have bigger everything is bigger. Yeah. Everything is bigger here. Yeah. Interesting. The last Wednesday, I think it was shout out loud. It's appeared on the tonight show. Jay Leno. Yeah. So how did that go? Did you get to meet Jay? Yeah. Of course. Yeah. It was friendly fellow. Mm-hmm. Went really well overall. I only talked to him. Did you talk to him when he came out to? Oh, a little bit. Yeah. Yeah. He had a sob. He said. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So there was some mutual. Yeah. Excellent. Well, I'm sure that tonight show is great, but probably not as exciting as playing live on KEXP here. Yeah. Of course. Do you have time for a couple more songs? Yeah. You can play two more. Shout out loud.
Okay. Yeah. Yeah. This one is called, please, please, please. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Louds on 90.3 and 91.7 KEXP, heard in Stockholm at KEXP.org. The band playing the more theater tonight with secret machines and kings of Leon. After Seattle, does the tour continue down the West Coast? Yes, it does. Yeah, San Francisco. Nice, yeah. The Fillmore, I think I saw. Yeah, it should be a good venue. Adam, Eric, and Bob on of Shoutout Louds. Thanks a lot for dropping by. Thank you. Good bye.
And thanks to our engineer Julian Martin Lew and Richard on the board. Let's take it back to the year studio. 90.3 and 91.7 KEXP, Seattle.
