This is music from Rochester a series of concerts be quoted out the Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester music from Rochester is made available to national educational radio by Xerox Corporation and station nobody BSB Rochester New York to tell us about tonight's concert here as our host Richard Fried. This is Richard Fried of the University of Rochester's Eastman School of Music introducing another Eastman School concert. In our continuing series of performances by students at the Eastman School to begin an exquisite piece for string quartet written by a composer known almost exclusively as a songwriter who avoids however also wrote operas and a lovely string quartet as well as the work we hear now of the Italian serenade. It's played by the Eastman honors string quartet the prize winning group coached by John Phelan tonneau comprising Vivienne go and Catherine Doherty violins. Richard Field Viola and Joel inertial cello the Italian serenade of who go vote.

And then Ortmann from Antigo Wisconsin who's been studying flute at the Eastman School of Music with the famous Joseph Mariano receive the school's performers certificate this year to begin her recital. We'll have a sonata by Bach and then one by Neil. Here is Johann Sebastian Bach. So not a for flute and club here in the minor Bach is number ten thirty four played by non Ortmann flute with Gwendolyn at the piano. The four movements are on Tonto Allegro andante and Allegro. Ooh.

BWV 10:34 played by a nun or two on flute and Gwendolyn Bosco piano. Now we hear the same performers in the SO not keen for food and piano by me or the three movements are so open and clear. Oh.
