yes ms are nikki wasn't really around the circus life i come over seventeen quite out of the fight club is different just not all over the place to cut all over the place especially with an editor right you know yet these after all for research on interview isn't part of why right so sometimes those are easier things to see that you try to read and keep up with in owning a corner he did it really well and about a boy were at one chapter is from the boy's perspective of one chapter from the adult perspective of the same time period and that was pretty cool but it even took me three or four chapters to figure out the tally was doing it terry
it is very very difficult and the pacific he's been great so how much of the programming is an asteroid it was not often we listen i never not fall asleep at bain that sound awful the law that they knew i was sleep deprived
music that i mean we'd listen to it every night but all that was nearing the day because i'm on the phone all the time so i mean all i'm really here is the weekend program in a car talking to allison in the show with me there's the one guy that jose was here last year none of that one game show yet at what you do it will they in turn back a trivia show he says of the system and yet it and locals here in the day i'm just curious is not a lot but we don't really need to love their interest birth and with minorities that borrowed a lot of
features that could be images four oh yeah you know it could get done he interviewed me for the peace it heated about and to musicians and the internet my space and although people still here i have people come to work you know i've heard you on npr to employment will really there are ways that the film thing that the film and it had been easier to do bit of making a movie like that's no easier than making a record year and then didn't so might have to give the money to do it on the air so i'm start a start and just to read and then as now the one or is kind of a perverse things can yell at them and
dominate i'm a local musician and this year that bill will come as nuke nominee i'm a local musician i'm a member of wpln i've been for a couple years now and so i guess the warriors ever talk over wanted to value either they went out what i really like most about the bp allen isn't that the voice that it has it both a news event coverage and some of the features that they they run and particularly at all things considered and to know what you know like listening to that like listening to car talk don't ever know what they're talking about but i laugh and i particularly like the music the last commuter updated night and my wife alice know that regularly throughout the evening and enjoy the
new age stuff on on sunday night and stars in i mean the women still wants its heart in space her heart of hearts that we never understand what they say maybe they should work on them that we love listening to the music and to the pro remain on the weekend and the news today that color your stories of the voice at the beginning of all a lot of people were quite catch yelling out that not the sound that yes there is you know that the community in the position we dont here and there's not really a bench i think i know how to put all this and here to talk all by fear of talk all week for a living and a button on and sanded
down but there is there's something unique about that that this is not a position that the coverage in the voice that that debbie appealing as that you don't find in any other media outlet you know whether it's locally and nationally over or owning radio in general is unabashedly conservative and i think that he'll npr is an intimate feeling right in the middle it's that coverage it is eerie talking with us at the beginning of that say about the voice and the sound was that they're just a local group with a group of overwhelm us to say good i think you're getting at the only one of the things i like about the bp allen is that it has a unique perspective unique voice that you don't find from other media outlets a locally or nationally whether they be radio or print or
broadcast how he will try to work on such an oreo why yes to money for mayor i don't mean that the menu while you guys probably every month because i'm terrible with the budget wise you to support them because i think it's an alarm aunt you to support of the appeal and financially because i grew up with that much value in it up with that much importance into what it offers to that we knew what it offers to me personally and i think it's important to put my money were martyrs tom mayo is a
sound bite a minute when he interviewed me again i think they should say i think that the people should support the repeal in an island public radio in general because it's important to have to have that voice that the station offers it's important to have the you know the type of the type of programming you know that says it's different is unique more people should hear it and it takes money for more people here and so if you listen to it don't don't just ride along you know participating and did shoot your station to public radio station i know i can
play out out and then have a lot for many people to see you know i do when everyone is their role is in to announce her and you say there will have to be a yes or you're not as a reader it is memorable it is that such announcements and no it's not fair i tried to do and i don't really want to do sustaining member spots that were just like talking about just a membership because i find a lot of people don't they sign up fourteen only did it because we talk about amir assumes that we often talk about it like you can go into a pleasant spread out here to the year but the widower talk
about in terms of being a sort of automatic renewing sustaining have an enviable that list the next year cooper and so i've wanted to spot i try to record themselves and images that that's frustrating to try hamdan trial and the sentiment among the position i feel comfortable singing a microphone recording in a lot of the stuff that is a total tease you know my thing is anytime i've done some i was featured a news story i'm a segment that and people itself really do and so they gave me a little video of it to watch an arm ahmad khan's then saying you know getting worried that congested this is radio which was such a relief as doing yard work is going on and then you do it again it's a
challenge that you know years before it airs you know it's going to two weeks now we've got his hair the spice route the whole week more than once a year in a growing number of them we have six from last trial were pouring more natural ones i hear more often surprise pleasantly and how often they're useless ninety one meters per don't i feel like i want to do is pitch which is an ear i would never us thinking owners gardening was your i get a high pitched hum oh no i have to say people can ali khamenei who is financing can see molly
afterwards you can hear so distinctly vampires yeah good ideas about movies etc i am entertained i mean i listen to music from aspen with news and programming on the time and i would never sink subscribe to magazines and i rent movies and i go to movies in a better place and so i when i paid for this thing that's do you want me so this isn't i mean there's sort of two parts that they can kind of overlapping foreign minister in the last two points and what it's like what is it that you value in and at the enemy basically limited case by saying why why you just as you are an evil i think other people attacking itself right i'm good
just a hollow my name is karen salient than i am me a long time to supporting member of the bp own old time sports there we don't have a lot of those papers now i'm hearing synthetic there before and here insane and i am a longtime supporting member of death the piano and the other well
it's not bothering me oh fine we're ready so to do that you know you are so many things that i value in that and to be p i n and ten forty pm also they seem think it's venting says that distinction will lose when people talk about but it's all day began when it doesn't have different letters on the hand doesn't know quite honestly i am listen on for pretty much trouble caught the morning i come up until nine o'clock when it switches average
music and then i also loved is being able to come in a car during a day's figure ten fourteen getting some fresh air and eleven memorial and thirty i mostly listen to all the news programs unlike marketplace to hear i am not a financial nice person that i feel like it gives me a bit of information about something that i would not really know about what was happening the financial world any other way so it's really nice because effect and broadens my horizons about things that i don't come across in my day to day world i really i'm just a huge fan of terry gross in fresh air and i have learned about books i want to read an author is that i'm interested in looking up in films it was seen as just delighted the other evening karen champ our haris the namesake years ago when nero contained her last name was directing and she was on fresh air with terry in there talking all about the movie and then yesterday morning and during morning edition they were interviewing her in the actor inside party can wait for the movie to
come out now i can't wait even more because of stories and it's selling debt you get to hear about the producer talking about to happen to her vision for the foam and on having read the book it just made it all come alive and now it's you know the only thing came out with the producer had in mind with certain scene and again that's something that i would never know about an issue or per public radio in a wonderful programming that they provide i also pressed white whole wheat day long i love weekend edition i had been a big fan of scott simon's for forever and on was fortunate her daily pill and to meet him when he was here a few years ago and i have to say that's maybe one of the things i love about being very involved at the station is iran ear piercing keillor comes in scott simon was hearing bob mondello is here and for me it's a bit of a thrill to get to meet people that you feel like you
know because you know they're in an intimacy of your home and intimacy of your car in your headphones in your listening to them you have likened to scott simon for fifteen years now or so cicero pleasure and treat to meet him and that i think is a wonderful thing that our local programming prices for members that that do support and support well the station and their opportunity to get to meet people that punishes i'm concerned are intelligent they didn't have to edit that one out of the thirty seven delta just at least literate own so i start with scott simon and seven i do a mental image that something came out earlier on the weekends in chicago you can pretty much turned uranium for the morning and they got programming going in and they don't hear this part maybe maybe you can play and have a half or so and then i'm in i think the other thing
that i'm so passionate about public radio is it it actually can be all things to just one person which is i don't know many other things that have that much range and diversity of speaking to my interests and my passions be i can start off with us scott simon where i'm clear he's fighting his entertaining danny kanell acid or hard hitting very sad journalistic piece about what's happening in the world and again these are things that i would not have the time to spend reading the paper and being online i'm not highly technically interactive so i really like getting my news from a human being that's talking and and illustrating and then i can put their images to it which is really probably my preferred way and so then after that you can switch to car talk right away and then you're laughing for an hour and i'm here one of the things over the years as a minister in the different cooking shows just recently i bought a wine that was suggested the splendid table
analysts happened to be up in new jersey in the tart at a store where to find this war and i found it i felt like you know that the show came alive and again i would've known about that and when i think about have the resources or the tapes and the angles that i get it occurs to me i would never get a great idea you know i subscribed to a magazine wearing a great ideas i you know pay for our own some cable programming weren't began educating and learning so why when i pay for a program that i'm tuning in to all the time and to me it really feels not even so much mike thinking imagining that does is morally the right thing it's not about that it's just the benefits that it brings into my life and it just feels like this is something our support and sustain and make sure continues and has the resources so that it couldn't you can continue to be such a ban is very positive positive in putting my life and i'm
addicted to wait wait don't tell me and yet actually i looked for two rainy gloomy sundays when i know i'm going to be house of mourning was the weather's good then i then i feel big conflict about being inside and listening to radio all morning which again is some the benefit of a ten forty is you can catch some of the other programs at different times which is really great thing is another side in memphis seen any of two stations so once the ones which is a word classical they played a rescue programs all the rest the day that it's really nice cause i'm much more of that human interest news and culture listening to those is really what grabs my attention the public radio and i also think it's we're so fortunate to be a city with a thriving station you know where the community has put money into staffing and put money into it research and put money into bringing great programs to the community speakers and
lectures and things that again i think where it makes nashville a makes me proud to be part of national and keeps me interested in continuing to live here year that that be it feels like there are other people there are like minded and interested in learning about the world in a different way than maybe we get through our local papers and local news programming not there's economic times listen to what your purchase i how you go to fuel the only a good enough yeah it for a year news of them for years for thirty hours forty and shoot what is and what's ten forty yeah just hit the second button in my car and it's the
end for example can you can you can i say fourteenth album is forty three or well since i'm a love for tinkering you should you should and interrupt your way of its attack again and a lot of the newer delights to me about what public radio astronomer last few years is the ability to have an am channel on fourteen thirty and what i really appreciate is during the day if i'm in the car and out about and i wanted to program that i know i didn't hedge during their evening before won't be able to get to that night i can do it and also i love being alone dr mine and finally figured out have to stream live and i had feared hundred and fourteen thirty i don't think it's possible that this painting of tommy howard but i'm a love also being enlisted at my desk and click on the iconic and figured out how to run my media player and i can listen to it now it's so great because you know initially there is so much programming and orange days and lives are so busy with the opportunity to
have two stations here would never really get any other way to hear calm talk of the nation in a bunch of the other programs that i just happen to be out running an errand or between something in pretty much riccardo di was only program to arm to nineteen ninety point three and fourteen thirty and that said i don't have to set anything else because there's no need to the author of the article and the case of all the sort of what they get something out of the snow and think about what does the modern world mr but has had to settle for ages and now my voice has through the hard part of her but i want to go meet
mony law it's been difficult fb the you know we don't
