Episode Description
The final episode of the third season opens with the segment Christopher Street Liberation Parade, a historical retrospective on the first pride parade in New York City in 1970. The segment San Francisco gay life profile covers neighborhoods, theater, the Gay Games and sports clubs in the city, while the segment Milwaukee gay life features theater and women's sports clubs. The next segment is a profile of Dan Butler, followed by the Gay films shown in San Francisco segment which covers a film festival and includes filmmakers Maria Maggenti and Denys Arcand. The San Franciso politics segment covers Harvey Milk and other gay supervisors, and the Missouri gay mayor profile segment is about mayor Gene Ulrich. The Suzanne Westenhoefer spot is about small town life in Columbus, Ohio, and the AIDS: San Franciso segment is about the California AIDS ride and includes a bit with author Armistead Maupin. Next is a segment titled South Vermont AIDS project, followed by the Gay films/filmmakers segment with filmmaker Marlon Riggs and writer Paul Rudnick. The Connecticut high school profile segment features the Staples High School Gay/Straight Alliance, and this episode's Celebrity ID segment features Patrick Stewart.
