Hello there and welcome to our three of Friday Night Jazz on VPR, I'm your host, Rubin Jackson. We will start things out with a collection under the leadership of keyboardist Jason Miles. It's called To Grover with Love, recorded live in Japan in 2010, the Blue Note in Tokyo, the Grover in question, not the Sesame Street brother, though he's kind of cool too. But Grover Washington Jr. First time we played this, what did we listen to, we listened to, boy, I think Black Frost which is also found on Grover Washington's Mr. Magic collection, tonight we'll hear Mr. Magic. I'm ammoed.
