ACL Producer Terry Lickona is known for having discovered many of today's popular artists before they became big stars ? among them, Willie Nelson, Mary Chapin Carpenter, George Strait, k.d. lang, Jimmy Buffett, Lyle Lovett, Shawn Colvin. "These artists tell of their affection for ACL, how much they learned about music by watching the programs when they were growing up, and how the program and its musicians inspired them to pursue their own musical dreams and careers.
