Program Description
"'Come Out Singing' is a program devoted to 'Women's music.' The four singers/composers are relative unknowns and all performed their own (and each others') work. The format was a concert before a live audience at the KCET studios. All of the music in the program relates to women's feelings or their experiences as women. Most of the material and some of the subject matter of the compositions have not been aired before on a large station in a major market."--1975 Peabody Awards entry form.
