Description
Series Description
"SCIENCE WITH THE COUNT is a once a week program geared to children between the ages of eight and twelve. The featured personalities are Count Dracula and his assistant Igor. Each week Dracula changes Igor into a different form pertaining to a specific science lesson. On one episode, Igor turns into a giant grasshopper. On another the Count changes him into a beautiful flower. The series is filled with original music and lyrics. An important aspect to each program is the [listeners'] ability to participate through the worksheets that are supplied by WBEZ radio. Children's radio should be educational as well as entertaining. The producers of SCIENCE WITH THE COUNT strive for these goals."--1976 Peabody Awards entry form.
