<v Neil Young>[Applause] [Song: From Hank to Hendrix by Neil Young] [Applause] [Song: Long May You Run by Neil Young] [Applause]
<v Neil Young>You don't have to clap that much.
<v Neil Young>They'll just cut it all out anyway. <v Neil Young>I don't have a setlist. Whatever I feel like playing, I play. <v Neil Young>I go by what I feel in the audience, why what I feel myself. <v Neil Young>So to do that with a band is like almost impossible because no band <v Neil Young>can can can know all of the songs and play all the different styles. <v Neil Young>[Song: Harvest Moon by Neil Young] [Applause] <v Neil Young>[Song: Tonight's the Night by Neil Young] [Applause]
<v Neil Young>People think about musicians and they think that musicians make music, too, as
<v Neil Young>a means to an end, like they have a goal in mind, like they're ambitious to get here or <v Neil Young>there or sell this or sell that. <v Neil Young>And I think really a lot of the musicians, you know, are kind of being trained that <v Neil Young>that's what's expected of them is to is to perform in a certain market. <v Neil Young>Not all musicians are like this. And, you know, music is <v Neil Young>the heart of the whole thing. And that's what makes it happen. <v Neil Young>And people ask questions like uh, that it's <v Neil Young>just their understanding of it is, is that you're doing it to get to become famous <v Neil Young>or you're doing it to make it or you're doing it to be successful <v Neil Young>or something, you know [Song: War of Man by Neil Young] <v Neil Young>[Applause]
<v Neil Young>[Song: You and Me by Neil Young]
<v Neil Young>[Applause]
<v Neil Young>I go- I do the same thing almost every night. <v Neil Young>I'm just like I get on the kind of program I'm saying I get. <v Neil Young>I'm in my buss usually and I generally about <v Neil Young>an hour and a half before showtime, I'll make my own dinner, usually pasta, <v Neil Young>because it gives you staying power and you don't get tired in the show.
<v Neil Young>There's no way you can fade pasta cause it's just after you get your body going <v Neil Young>and metabolizing, then this stuff kicks in. <v Neil Young>So once you get out there and get going on the adrenaline, the audience, then this other <v Neil Young>stuff kicks in. It's like an amazing thing. <v Neil Young>[Song: Like a Hurricane by Neil Young]
<v Neil Young>[Applause] [Song: Mr. Soul by Neil Young] [Applause]
<v Neil Young>I got a great family. Great, great kids.
<v Neil Young>I love all my kids. I mean, it's a wonderful thing. <v Neil Young>This school, my wife Peggy thought of this idea. <v Neil Young>She said, I want to start a school for kids like Ben. <v Neil Young>And we were going to teach them how to how to communicate using computers <v Neil Young>and stuff. And she had all these ideas because she'd been gone, all the schools <v Neil Young>trying to find the right program for Ben and couldn't find one. <v Neil Young>So she took it on herself. <v Neil Young>It was just infectious. <v Neil Young>It took on that energy and we made it work. <v Neil Young>And now she's got this school and there's a lot of kids going to it. <v Neil Young>It's a cool thing. <v Neil Young>[Song: Dreamin' Man by Neil Young] [Applause] [Song: <v Neil Young>After the Gold Rush by Neil Young] [Applause]
<v Neil Young>[Song: Love is a Rose by Neil Young] [Applause]

This season featured such diverse artist as Keith Richards, Wynonna [Judd], k.d. lang, Bruce Hornsby, and Bonnie Raitt. We hope the tradition started with 'Soundstage' continues.
