Let me check this thing out and see if it's working right. You know one two three four. How long you been coming out here and making a brand new offering saying in their own history to make a. Buck thirty here. Right here on these very street right. Out of the people to reach is. Not there to grill nice to try to raise a little money that way. Also how does it go usually sometime sometime you get rest last month I don't get is this just it does deal with a lot of people sometime I do well some time ago but kind of songs do you sing for the people slinging songs and ballad songs. And next I sang all slays it all old time a song. Some new songs mixed up against you and they being mixed up together. If you've been coming out here for 34 years that means having come out here since the late 1930s and write a lot of changes have come about since then the show has a lot of changes
to it but a pope more Belgium and not the world back then. She had time I can sang on the street they used to warn me but they don't warm enough to be real not to police especially. There's not going to be. Demand on what I can say how good they are to me. Clay really good to. See me used to have a problem with police chase you off the street and things like that you know not only here in all places to Tampa and different places a lot of Alabama where you called Reverend Brown I used to churches but I believe in doing a thing to right and I know of a stain it says I wouldn't do the thing that rides out a quick path. I'm impressed as a south 15 years old yet I will bone but I really do. Good saying all right I feel like you enjoy it.
Could you sing some songs for me now. Yes but I'll be welcomed in the field. We'll just saying and I know it's mean and say Come on Tom. Maybe we could get back in this little entrance way to the store that's closed here and get a little bit noisy right. Yeah right in here. What's first of all will play into your bottleneck stuff. What does that mean. Oh wait out a negro first daughter saying in plain. That he'll be. The old frank way they know what I know about playing a guitar. It was called the ball in a book. There it says in recent years at the gas lava coming through it. We get some of these little pots. Cut them off and make it to. Get tossed out. I'm going to offer you a sample you want to see put the pipe
on. On one finger and put it on the top of the guitar. That's right. Will meet your parents or you know let me check Simmons taping list. Ok going out your. TV you'll want to. Do a lot at church. Hall.
Oh sure you'll see the church. Long. Long. Long long. Long. Home. Was. Just me or the rain on the border saw my. Killer
Ming the game. You. Know. I'm OK. Will Will.
Look at. The. Dawning. LOL that. You wrote that you need to write a poem and 19 and sing it ever since. You said you'd like to get that on record. Didn't you also show we're going to have a bible says I'm old old songs he went out and my grandma was so young she taught me all those songs but I had to take tablet contemplate him because as I have 12 trying to get off. If I don't you go beyond call probably to I think get Talk to make but I live at home with you had you Grandmother been a slave. Yes
she was a she will she will slave girl and she was that chest Fatima held back to get my little thing she assured me she was saying so Obama goodbye often it was she in a mo. She had what on her back tried splays tried. Or she'd been hit. But shouldn't be you know as a slave you know soul she longed all over so that you saw that I didn't know the touch how to play. I pick it up myself I believe that the Cowboys play on the radio and I picked up myself and I played myself. How long did it take you to pick it up I I don't think I'm going to get it right a week accompli I'll call you into. They are going to get tired of you also and indent code I can't do too much. WHITFIELD look. I can't do much with it all which I use it might be called too much work. A guy you know will fail can pull nothing on it so I don't know a lot of op plates on
but not like eye candy off accordion to get on and off. Did you ever teach anybody else to play. Yeah also doorsill folks in Macon. I will give you. Just a little taste of this goodbye. If I never see you know. This song you're a grandmother Sandy. Good bye. Good bye. Yeah yeah it was a new game oh. Good bye. Good bye. Oh me. Sure. That song. Sang the song

Oh. That you know where oh. You. Meet you. Oh no. Oh. I think it's an odd got I got a pretty pretty view of my live it up at Oakdale and I could get into as you know. River Brown how do you find your way around here usually. Well I say I come up you know. Couldn't see so I just hit death with talent. I mean to me doesn't give me a go around. The House a lot and leave me out the whole hog and the five biggest thing I can tell you that the Lord lead me home plate plain. I. Can Step down here. We've been walking the streets for 34 years young known pretty well by now. Well now we cross post and now we want
we want cause oh he'll no. OK. A long hallway leading to a small half dark room. The Rev. curly brown has traveled over much of the South singing for whatever he could get. Occasionally he has spent time in jail for his efforts. Now each Wednesday he travels by bus from Americas Georgia to Macon to walk the streets singing and talking and then to return to his hotel room where one of the women who works for the hotel helps him with his needs Saturday evening he puts on a freshly clean white shirt buttons it to the top puts on his old fashioned suspenders on his pants and gets ready for the two hour ride that will take him 71 miles back to America's. He says it won't always be so. Someday things will change maybe soon. The woman who helps him at the hotel makes a point of walking him to the bus station one day on his way to the station he was robbed of $24 on a roundtrip ticket from Macon to Americus.
