I am Sam Miller an emergency room nurse and the trauma coordinator for Bozeman Deaconess Hospital. The holidays are a great time in southwestern Montana but they do come with risks. Our winter roads are famous for blowing snow and icy conditions. Please be cautious when roads are bad slow down while driving or avoid travel altogether if it's really nasty you are also a pretty social crew here in Gallatin Valley and that means alcohol. We all know the risks of drinking and driving so don't. There are plenty of options to get home such as taxis an hour streamlined bus service. If you've had too much to drink.
