It weaves a tale of psychological control perhaps that of a married woman over her younger lover. The opening lyrics read you consider me your young apprentice caught between the Scylla and Charybdis stings Scylla and Charybdis alludes to the ancient Greek tale that accounts for the maritime hazards at the strait of Messina between the island of Sicily and the Italian mainland with a rugged promenade Torii on one side and a violent whirlpool on the other. The Strait has always been dangerous for mariners. The ancients personified these hazards the Scylla was a six headed man eating monster living in a cave on the prom and Torrie while the goddess coverage agitated the waters by drinking in and belching out the sea.
