Good day verb of yours I'm Christie the wordsmith. What a linguistic attribute unites the following words. Ape Badger dog and hawg. If you thought that these are all names of animals you're only partially right. There is more to the picture here. The AFR mentioned are also commonly used as verbs in American English. You can ape your brother's actions. Badger your parents for a new bike. Dog someone's footsteps or hog the road by hugging the center stripe. Let's take a gander at the stories behind these unique verbs to ape. Someone is to mockingly imitate him. This verb alludes to the uncanny ability of the Apes which include the chimpanzees and gorillas to mimic their human caretakers or perhaps they're spectators at the zoo badgering involves annoying vexing and pestering someone to get what you want.
