- Education reform often comes packaged in buzz words and catch phrases like ‘whole language’ and ‘no child left behind’. Nearly very politician claims that he or she will be the education governor or president. School reform is the battle cry of every election. But after the buzzwords and promises fade, what gets done? Lawmakers in Santa Fe are preparing to send more reform bills to the governor. New Mexico already spends more on education than anything else and half of your tax dollars go to public schools.
