And that's what it's really searching for, I mean I came upon Prince Vladimir, some of the various stories and there are some great anecdotes in there, that are anecdotes saying it's attributed to this person and that person. So I can incorporate some of those. That's a great one. What we talked about into the narrative, and I'm like I'm a comic do it in a great way, which is a little reverb, Zoe's in the monastery or in a cathedral. There's a great quote to Tia the plug me for a second all. Well here, why don't we go ahead and get you, did you want to say something about, you know, why honestly I didn't, that is, we have rights problems with. And that's part of the point. Oh yeah. If it's attributed to some saint I can use it. But to take care of his stuff, then I have to. Then you have to. Well, he's dead, I think. Oh, okay. Anyway, you were saying in terms of, is this gone on again? Robert, as a teacher has been incredibly generous with his knowledge.
We've talked, every time we have a lesson, we talk about the history of icons. We talk about the icons that are being done today. We talk about the spirituality of the saints that are being represented. And he's giving me all of that, as well as technique that it's taken him 20 years to learn. And that he's had to go through, you know, years and years of mistakes, learning, as far as the goal, leaf, as far as the garments, especially. He does garments like no other icon painter. And he's teaching me all of that, you know, giving me everything, really everything that he has. And that's amazingly generous. There's no ego involved, you know. There's no fear involved about what he's giving away. He just gives it to me. Has it changed you as an artist? Yeah, I mean, of course I'm running to
try to, you know, to learn all this. And it's overwhelming to try to learn it. But it takes a lot out of him, I know, to teach. It takes a lot out of his time, but also out of, you know, drains his spirit. And yet he's giving me that. So it's affected me a lot. I will always be his student. You know, I will always be a person that he gave the tradition to. And I'm extremely proud of that. Magnific. Wonderful. Thank
you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you. Thank
you. Thank you. Thank you. I've kind of one for doing this lens. I've run in the car to give to you a deal,

I've run in the car to give to you a deal. I've run in the car to give to you a deal. Thank you very much.
Thank you very much. Thank you very much. It reminds me of the sense of design
I was taught in art school. I mean, they weren't trying to teach a sense of design, but I went to a design school in Los Angeles. It was a very commercial school. I mean, they had fine art painting, but it was mostly illustration, graphic design, advertising, or anything. They had some of the top illustrators of the time teaching there, which was, that's why I like the school because they taught one day a week and did the other six. They did the art. They lived a lot, but they just didn't have the training to carry it that far, you know, or the tools. It was wonderful to copy that icon because I found out that the artist had put, it goes from dark green to light
green and then the wings go from dark to light. The opposite direction, you know, and I didn't notice those things until I started to copy it. In the start, I almost didn't put in because I didn't like it at first. And then the guy who ordered it said, no, I want to start. So glad I did it. At seven point in the start, you know, it's got some symbolic meaning. Absolutely. I don't know about you. And it's an asymmetrical star. It is a symmetrical star in the sense that you see seven, but there are eight. Yeah. Well, no, it isn't because that's the difference of it. It isn't her in front of a star. The star basically comes from her. Right. She isn't standing. Can you push it down a little on your
left? I'm just going to do it. Yeah, I don't like these words. I mean, they're all right if you have no other choice. Well, I've been using them even though I don't like them. Yeah. And they've been fine. But now I've had problems with them. I don't know if I could go back to my old prejudice right here. I can't trust those things. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
