ago the us decided this one you got a shock if i remember correctly was that he was on duty to take his all four letter mcconnell who's been online on them or two days with a seven point lead will be no trial in his
orders for friday at the people seventeen forty six by a captain and forty four to march directly and visit all the colleges in the neighborhood of the field of battle the officers and men will take notice that the public or the rebels on the budget battle that was to give us no quarter but what the public supporters of the rebel is to give no mercy to the army do not exist in any other form of crude forgeries alleged to have been found on the field of battle
but what it knows there's public order is a forgery or not come and makes it his excuse to authorize what now happens if both the part of the parade the officer in charge of this execution squad is himself a scotsman veterans go out on many of the rebels been killed in this fashion as many have been confined into recession but just this morning i had become an officer saying that in just one area even social seventy two wounded rebels shot well probably yes i saw was done we wouldn't know of course hadn't <unk> thank god that i have nothing to do that well you just try to remember
that this is the most difficult part i've told much with officers from logan stops regents and they undoubtedly feel that these higher wages are threatening their culture that protestant religions they're threatening to disrupt the peace and that khan this is a great feeling of insecure it's these people still remember the highland host they still remember the gears of cattle thieves and then coming down light from the hills and exporting back pain of being well you see the heightened talk to different language he wears different clothes and he undoubtedly has some uncouth and barbaric practice it's for all these reasons i think you'll find most members hold the man from this part of the car a tree in contempt and hatred much more so even than the english
to islamic teaching the prisons and like this so for instance it's been said you're keeping the prisons in inverness without world food and water and the child even withholding medical distance from the show this is against all bounds of humanity but i think the point somewhat and view these men or red bows and barbarians and as such are to be rated this couple and treated as a couple for three days and nights since the battle is managing its many of them stripped of their
coats many of them dying from gaping wounds have been lying and called dixon damn sellers awaiting removal to the prison ships anchored in the earth the british army authorities have withheld from them even medical dressings bus hoping to solve the acute like prisons bass line showing the mortality rate that remains on her life and smelling his toe is next to be fighting spirit robert mcclay simon fisher to be
driving up offense at an english trial which he is able to understand lot of words his sentence execution of your law being hanged drawn and ronald mcdonald farmer to wait in prison fourteen months on trial and sentenced a luncheon to be pored through the streets almost led and hanged drawn and quartered which was and still believing the scalps to trade and refuses to listen to last minute pleas to stay and fight and the mountains calcium without a word of thanks and he dismisses one of the only in the saddlebags the last of the jacobite times which is now decided to keep for himself ms meade he estimates being greater ouster jon stewart july ten days in prison and ended with a broken nose to die on the eleventh day of angry and
john wayman sullivan soon to be safely in rome to tell king james of the good part is played in the rising and promptly received first a knighthood and then see alexander sullivan it never brought to trial and nor george martin who to the end and prince charles and his irish administration for the defeat of his soon to leave scotland for have forced to seek exile in europe with prince charles refuses to see him again and never forgives him claiming his opposition to his administration to town for the stewart calls or george martin estimated by some as one of the most brilliant channels of the eighteenth century we kept his own counsel could perhaps of

already burned smashed rate looted and beignets of their way from connecticut to more than committing in the name of pacification the worst atrocities in the history of the british army kept and caroline frederick scott no i agree with that by the way the rebel was before because the major law for those who have been in the news that their wages of those words can have one of them on the couple drove poe's another plaque will destroy more towards some pro englishman some of the pupils we have the judgments of the people with the most difficult work of this was so just it will hit

- Peter ("The War Game") Watkins ' documentary reconstruction of the last battle to be fought on British soil, and its aftermath, treated in on-the-spot newsreel fashion as though the TV camera has been invented in 1746. "The Battle of Culloden" is a documentary reconstruction of the last battle to be fought on British Soil, and its aftermath. On April 16, 1746, on a moor not far from Inverness, the Government forces, numbering some 9,000 men under William Augustus, Duke of Cumberland, engaged in battle with the Scottish Jacobites less than 5,000 men under Charles Edward Stuart, better known as Bonnie Prince Charlie who were making one final attempt to restore the Royal Stuarts to the thrones of Scotland, England, and Ireland. In a bloody massacre, the Jacobites were defeated. Basing it on actual record and available fact, producer-writer Peter Watkins carefully carried out a step-by-step reconstruction of this battle on the original site, using the weapons of the day, and reenacting it with the assistance of a large number of people from the neighborhood. To this reconstruction as though the television camera was invented at the time of the battle he applied newsreel techniques, imparting the sense of urgency and vivid occasion associated with the coverage of contemporary events. The cameras are taken to the battlefield; unseen newsmen carry out on the spot interviews with the leaders and with obscure people on both sides before the battle to show the futile reasons for fighting at all, and after, to underline the battle battle's brutality and its ferocious aftermath. Peter Watkins, writer and producer of "The Battle of Culloden," received a 1967 Academy Award for his documentary feature "The War Game." The Battle of Culloden is a National Educational Television presentation, a production of BBC-TV. This 90-minute piece was recorded in black and white on videotape and aired as NET Playhouse episode 23 on March 10, 1967, as NET Playhouse episode 86 on May 24, 1968, and as NET Playhouse episode 160 on October 23, 1969.
