Episode Description
This program is the first of four devoted to an examination of conservative beliefs. Focus for this program is the issue of law and order. Moderator for the series is Sidney Hyman, fellow of the Adlai Stevenson Institute of International Affairs and author of The Politics of Consensus and The American President. Panelists for the first program are: John C. Satterfield, former president, American Bar Association; Robert Morris, president of the University of Plano, Plano, Texas; and Philip B. Kurland, professor of law, University of Chicago. In this initial program, dealing with law and order, the panel discusses the Supreme Court, its powers, its Justices, and especially [] regarding the rights of criminals.
