Description
President and Mrs. Bush play host to members of the United States congress and their families for this annual event held on the South Lawn of the Executive Mansion. The August 2005 picnic featured performances by Shirley Jones, Tom Wopat, Harolyn Blackwell and 16-year old dance virtuoso Cartier Williams. With a "Broadway Americana" theme, the program also includes documentary material about the picnic and the White House South Lawn.
