Iraq. I. Know. As citizens of the United States no document affects us more directly than the United States Constitution and Wisconsin's state constitution also protects our rights. Wisconsin held two constitutional conventions both in Medicine Woman eight hundred forty six and the other in 1947 48 banking issues dominated the first convention all the social issues and rights created much of the controversy. Delegates proposed an amendment to extend suffrage to blacks. The Constitution would have a lot of married women to own property separate from Ozment and action that one delegate said would lead to the utter destruction of the home the annihilation the marriage contract. The proposed constitution of 1846 was defeated in a referendum. The convention in 1948 avoided the social controversies of
