Oh. Oh. In the annals of Wisconsin history no name is more famous than Le Follet and in the history of the U.S. Constitution perhaps no fight was as long and intense as that for women's suffrage. These two sagas meet in the life of Bell case le Follet Bell was the first woman to graduate from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1885. She worked with there has been Robert le Follet Sr. throughout his career but pursued her own agenda as an advocate for social concerns especially women suffered working along with Olympia Brown I dated James and others else dumped in cities throughout Wisconsin. On June 13 1919 Wisconsin began the first state to ratify the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote. The Milwaukee Sentinel eulogized Bella followed in 1931 saying the world will never realize fully what it owes its women for the achievements of its man.
