Welcome back to the second half of this program recorded on location in the yellow barn and yellow barn festival in Putney Vermont on July 4th of this year. Thus far in the program we've heard the Sonata in the minor for violin harpsichord and cello by Bach the gunboats Sonata by Johann Sebastian Bach a cunt haha by George Frederick Handel. And in the second half a work by Alan Hove on us a 20th century composer and the trio in C Major by Franz Josef Haydn to guest artist at the festival this year Carol Rosenberg's soprano and Eric Rosen Blyth by a legend. They will all perform Hercules Opus 56 number four for soprano one violin by Alan Hope goddess. A.

Ira Wilner was the recording engineer on location on this Fourth of July concert the first in a 1979 series at the yellow barn festival. Later on in September will be listening to the Primavera quartet. Part of this festival. They were recorded at the west village meeting house in west Brattleboro Vermont I'll be listening to that later on in this month on an evening concert. In the interim. At the end of this program at 10:00 p.m. We'll listen to the Concerto in D Major for violin and orchestra Opus 35 by Tchaikovsky. This is a Columbia recording. The violin soloist is Isaac Stern. Mr. Slav Rostropovich is conducting the National Symphony Orchestra. This is the Concerto in D Major for violin and orchestra Opus 35 by Tchaikovsky.
