Description
Description
Rachel Laudan is a writer and historian specializing in food politics. She sparked a food fight when she bucked the contemporary trend of vilifying fast, industrialized, processed food in an essay she wrote for The Gastronomica Reader. Her defense of fast food went viral, and ended up as an ldquo;Idea of the Day" in The New York Times. She also got her share of criticism.
