- This LPB documentary tells the story of General Robert Hilliard Barrow (1922-2008), the Louisiana native who served as the 27th Commandant of the United State Marine Corps. During his 41 years of service, he fought in World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War earning the Navy Cross in Korea and the Distinguished Service Cross in Vietnam.
