Episode Description
This episode of the series En Francais from October 2, 1983, features Amanda LaFleur's report from Festivals Acadiens in Lafayette, Louisiana. Her report features highlights of the music, food, and arts and crafts available at the festival. It also includes highlights of the official twinning of the Acadian Village in Lafayette and the Acadian Historical Village in Caraquet, New Brunswick, Canada. LaFleur also interviews Pete Bergeron and Randy Broussard of KRVS-FM in Lafayette, as well as Bruce Daigrepont of the Cajun band Bourre.
