In this episode of "Lucys Classic Cajun Culture & Cooking" from August 30, 2003, Miss Lucy visits the Tabasco Pepper Sauce Factory on Avery Island, Louisiana. In her kitchen, she prepares Oyster Nachos, Hot Crawfish Cornbread, and Stuffed Bell Peppers. Lastly, Miss Lucy reads viewer mail.
Description
Things start to really heat up when Lucy gets to the home of Tabasco at Avery Island. From the peppers to the processing plant Lucy gets a whiff of the hot sauce known around the world. Lucy's "Menu for Today" is Oyster Nachos, Hot Cornbread with Crawfish, Cantaloupe Salad, Stuffed Bell Pepper and Peanut Butter Pie.
