Episode Description
In this episode from the "Bed and Breakfasts of the Bayou State" series of "A Taste of Louisiana" from April 24, 1999, Chef John Folse visits TFreres House in Lafayette, Louisiana. In the studio kitchen, he prepares Eggs a la Crme with Crawfish and Turtle Soup. Back at TFreres House, Chef Folse and owner Maugue Pastor cook Crabmeat Vermillion. Pastor also discusses her decision to open a bed and breakfast and how she makes her guests feel comfortable.
Description
With a name like TFrere, this bed and breakfast can be located only in the Cajun country of Louisiana. Chef Folse travels to Lafayette to prepare crabmeat vermillion and interview TFrere owner Maugie Pastor. Today's menu also includes Bananas Foster, sweet and spicy chicken etouffee, TFrere turtle soup, and eggs ` la creme.
