An interview with Johnnie Cochran conducted by Gus Weill for Louisiana Legends. Cochran, a Shreveport, Louisiana native, was a prominent Civil Rights and Defense Attorney. He discusses his early life and influences; his career path; his involvement in the LAPD accountability investigations and changing policy for dealing with domestic violence; his participation in Southern University's Civil Rights Summit; his role as an "advocate in the search for the truth"; his high profile cases; social justice as his driving force; the fight for Geronimo Pratt; the impact of the O.J. Simpson case; and the racial divide in the United States.

This episode of the series "Louisiana Legends" from January 12, 1999, features an interview with Johnnie Cochran conducted by Gus Weill.
