Day. Clancy
cos you don't know we just played it just because we're all human beings doesn't mean we're all the same. This is a new england folk festival. Some people here probably keep alive a lawn cultural heritage. Others what. Remind the little country whose names no longer appear in geography. But all seem to honestly take pleasure in. The simple things of life. Some say we're too sophisticated to enjoy those. Are we in
fact. I think gary and i never have to be beaten up pretty. One hundred in some pretty and clean i think it's a different issue for tell you didn't intend to be is everybody make his own kind of law i think must mean whatever you happen to people like to call it make it out of it and it has a different name. And you can make it.
And if you make it out of chicken you're going to. And
i want to read and. I want. Joe you've been coming up in the new england folk festival for twelve years now. Came to new england after i got on the army and went to mit for a while and then i just fell into the folk musicians. Naturally led to to this place. And i've been interested particularly in folk dance music and i just naturally fell into this group and began playing with them and i've been playing. For about twelve years. Plus a larger group. And many of us get together and play elsewhere in the wings and for different dances. Different colors. So on. This. Gradually let into the debate the kraftwerk thing. About five years ago.
When i began my my homesteading thing in new hampshire i left the boston area and bought land in new hampshire. And got into the crash scene and disagree to me that. Bringing work out and working directly in from the public might be a good thing so i tried it and sure enough it worked on. I'm still going and. So i. I travel around to different craft shows and folk festivals in the england. And do this very thing having to work out with people to see it. What craft do you have other. Primarily leather. And things related to leather like the bone. In the knife making. This is called the. Ryan frost fortnight what's so special about. Well i like this this this knife because the. Particular small size is a very useful sort of knife it's a very high grade blade made of steel plates made by eric frost company and. Written for the name and sweden and it's an unusual blade and then it's made of three layers of steel
with a hard center and a soft outside. And it's hard to find a track too high grade knife. Particular size like this which is a very useful. Size. With a decent she's. There just isn't like you're going in the twenty and thirty dollar price range you don't get a decent youthful knife not that i make. What i think is a very good cheese to handle star deer antlers which i get from local hundreds of people in new hampshire i get them by trading and. Swapping and buying. One of the things you've made is a fantastic venue ok. Which is really displays the honesty of leather. Leather can't be glued together it's going to be stitched so we see these marvelous. And the. Which is holding it together. Is this something that's on sale or is this something that belongs to you. This is something i made for my own you. Play banjo and other instruments and i like to carry them around and. I like to always be within the sort of armors reach of an instrument when i'm out on the shows and. I've done quite a little.
Sort of development and i think of cases. And this one is designed in such a way that you can be carried over the back or. Or in the hand with shoulder strap. And it's very lightweight still gives everything a protection. I just like to take my chances with me almost every place i go oh you are right. You
know who
or what. You. From
the different. Is mixed with technical knowledge and. What are those who know you know what is it. And what a blog jungle jungle. Right. It's nice for the days and nights in the news and with your mission. You're going to make them in the book. This
is remembrance. Thank you. Very and who spoke to a lot of people are. A lot of different kinds of people are great grandparents great many horses are used today. Other
people young working people of different groups and the ethnic groups are becoming more polished i think the impression that they make and. I think perhaps as a whole. We have a great many more good. When your husband tony has been training area. For a long time and today. Captured this kind of feeling happens a lot of
the kind of really good that's going to. You.
You. The
only thing i know about indonesian food. Is that it has a flavor of peanuts. With a lot of peanuts in the in the ingredients are there i agree because a friend says this is a style that's eighty eight why. And the sauce that goes with this i think is basically made of ground. Peanuts. But spices and other diseases of course but basically it's. Peanuts. To many of the. The asian countries serving a main dish something like this since all of you. Yes all thing i think you'll find some. In some one way or another you'll find that someday in malaysia. And even in japan. I think is that people that went to thailand. And even in vietnam found something one way or another some sort of a so they can be made of any kind of meat. We make of beef chicken even shrimp and. I think it's very important to know who this is the. Matinee. Because that's in every country the matinée that's different than what we consider our my donate the best. Who knows very little about indonesian culture are there are there many indonesians in boston yes and i
think right now there are about twenty to twenty families. Most. I'm one of them. I
thought. I
was going just one. Number five hundred people here are much more active than others. Mostly be the northern european a lot of. One
of the groups would you like to get here now which is the largest concentration of help share with.
