Casey's Distribution

Governor Parsons, Joplin Mayor Ryan Stanley and Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce President Toby Teeter cut the ribbon on the new Casey's distribution center in Joplin. The warehouse added 125 new jobs to the city and was built at a cost of $62 million. The location is Casey's third distribution center and will serve between 400 and 600 stores in the Midwest and South. Dan Redb Les, President and CEO of Casey's was also on hand, saying that the distribution center in Joplin is key to the company's plans for accelerated store growth over the next two years. The two weather distribution centers the company operates are in Iowa and Indiana. The first Casey's general store opened in 1967 outside of Des Moines, Iowa.
