Previously Mallory was the Director of Athletics at Kentucky Wesleyan for six years. The Lions have moved quickly to make over their athletic department since hiring President Dean Van Galen almost one year ago. Southern parted ways with head football coach Jeff Sims lay last year before replacing him with a team of Bradley in February. Jared Brugman Southern AD since 2009 left the university in March.
