I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry… And the Z -axis is the plane that goes back into space. I like playing
with the Z -axis. Try to get the viewer to fall within my work. The first step is to gather clear glass on the end of the blowpipe. A thin layer of colored glass is stretched over the top of the clear glass. It's going to be great. Fastest are then ground and polished across the surface of the piece, which creates windows or lenses for the viewer to visually move within the interior of my work. I really don't have any preconceived ideas when I start working on a piece. Once the piece has been ground and polished, it's
stretching a canvas. The entire piece is covered up with masking tape except specific areas, which is exposed where I can use the sandblaster to erase that thin layer of color. Once that color is erased, then an airbrush is used to apply other colors to the surface. Taking the masking tape off, it's like opening up a Christmas present. There's this excitement about seeing my vision completed. I get to explore the piece myself. I
get to visually fall within and see my structures move around the space. I'm trying to create this dream state for the viewer, my dream state, dreams that I used to have when I was a child. Where spatial relationships were totally out of whack. I think that was the root of why I like playing with optics, and I like playing with the drawings that I do. Because I'm trying to put myself back into
this euphoric place where space is not real. Space is just an illusion. Space is a place to feel and not just to see. Space is a place to feel
and not just to see. Space is a place to feel and not just to see. Space is a place to feel and not just to see. Space is a place to feel and not just to see.
Space is a place to feel and not just to see.
