After an over-your-long hiatus due to the pandemic, Joplin's arts and entertainment non-profit connected culture announced in a press release Wednesday that they will host five in-person performances starting on Saturday, June 5th. They will first welcome Nashville, Tennessee, Trio, Farwell, Angela, performing at the Joplin Empire Market. The Trio is an all-female country group with powerhouse vocalists, dynamics and writers, and accomplished multi-instrumentalists. The latter four performances are what connected culture is done. They're Joe Mo Jam and in July series, with four musical genres, including full blues and jazz, featuring music from eight local groups in our to starting on Saturday, July 10th.
