Only he said my car needs a push from my hand to make it move. Real cars have engines for moving, and racers are special powerful engines to make them go fast. And you know what, he gave me a present. A Brazilian flag. There are some words written in Portuguese, that's the language of Brazil.

He said that it's not too different from Spanish. The champion can speak Portuguese and English and Spanish too. He even understands a little of some other languages. That way he can talk to people and make new friends in almost all of the countries he races and new friends like me. My friend is on TV just before the start of the big race. He got a terrific start. He was in front of everybody. Then I heard the announcer say that something was wrong with Fidda Pauli's car and it was slowing down. But he kept racing anyway for a whole hour. And he still finished third even with a slow car. The announcer said only a real champion could do that.
