We'll spend the next hour bringing you up to date on the top stories in agribusiness. That means we'll check that cash cattle and hog market, those federally inspected slaughter numbers from around the country. We'll stop by the Chicago Board of Trade where there's a fairly bullish soybean market today and at the mercantil exchange, live cattle futures moving lower. The weather, well, we'll cover that for you and all of the other agribusiness highlights. Right after the show, with Mr. Shearer. Could be, who knows, there's something good in it. Hey, I will know right away as soon as it shows. You can make them cannonballing down through the sky,
blooming a type, bright as a rose. Who knows? It's only just our rich owner, our rich under a tree. I got a feeling there's a miracle you've got a good truth coming to me. Did it be? Yes, it could. It's something's coming, something good. If I can't wait, something's numbing. I don't know why it is, but it is going to be great. With a clip, with a shock, full jingle, door will knock, open the latch. The wind's coming, don't know when, but soon catch the new one and a catch. Around the cool moon, far bristling down the river, come on, be delivered to me.
Could it be? Yes, it will. Maybe just by holding still. It'll be there. Come on, something, come on, and don't be shy. Meet a guy, pull up a chair. Be there is nothing, and something great is coming. Who knows? It's only just our rich owner, the fuck on a beach. Maybe tonight. You got to some legs, baby, just won't quit. You got to a pretty boy and a little pretty.
You got to run on the slab that you gave him the slip. That's just a crying shame. You love the boy with the pretty green eyes. You love the boy who says he's so clever and wise. You love the boy who's always telling you lies. That's just a crying shame. Sometimes it never quit raining. Sometimes that bone just won't lie. Sometimes I never miss nothing. Sometimes I miss anything. But you like I'm tall when it's raining. You like I'm tall when you're feeling old.
But you never felt anything that you wanted to have. That's just a crying shame. So he says you look lovely, mate. You said thank you, I'm fine. You spend all his money and you spend all his time. And you spend the night like you were spending a dime. That's just a crying shame. That's just a crying shame.
You walk around and say you're bad. Time to do the way. But yeah, I am the man who started all. And I'm glad. Cause I'm number one original. I know I'm bad. All you perfect freedoms. Fight me so hard. Feel my rhythm and my style. And you think you're God. But I'm your teacher. Ow. I'm as good as gold. Check out from the ground. I'm real. I'm real. I'm the real. Super bad. And then nobody else good enough to take the things out. I'm real. I'm the real. Super bad. And then nobody else good enough to take the things out. Yes, it's true. It's moved to Monday evening at 7 p.m., right after all things considered. So, if you want to hear the repeat broadcast, there it will be. Monday evening at 7 p.m., here on KCRW Santa Monica, a community service of Santa Monica College at 89.9 p.m., National Public Radio for most of Southern California. Of course, this has been going on for years. Beginning with the Beatles, I buried Paul. Well, that was so nebulous that it could have been almost anything. Rather like Swamgas and UFOs. In the case of I buried Paul, yes, but in recent years there have been clear, intelligible messages. For instance, well, here's one that recently came to my attention. Send your check with your flat slip. It's Hanun. Sunday Things Jazz with Tim in the city. Sunday Things Jazz with Tim in the city.
Mr. President of the DJ Committee. We're gonna be up all day getting with it. From down in the land that's blue. Rho-ro-ro-ro Here you come again, here you come again. good morning everyone how y'all doing out there this is your host Tim Houser welcoming you to two hours of the best on Sunday sings jazz the best of jazz and jazz related music and that's what we've got going this morning a little bit of an unusual program in that it's not what we normally do which I kind of like going to play a couple oddball pieces oddball for Sunday sings jazz certainly the music is not oddball I don't know I guess it
all depends on which way you're standing huh but we're going to start actually we're not going to be playing as many records as we usually do because a lot of the cuts are little longer we got one cut this 12 minutes long and that's unusual for our show I guess on a lot of other shows instrumental shows like jazz instrumental shows that's pretty you know standard I guess but we usually average about three and a half minutes a tune because that's usually the singers routine but in some of these cases a little bit longer than that we're going to start off this morning with a new album a new album by the dirty dozen brass band out of New Orleans and title of the album is voodoo and a brand-furt more salises on this album Dr. John Dizzy Gillespie and it's on CBS of course that's their label and the interesting thing on the back of the cover is a photograph of these guys at the bar in New Orleans where they hold court and I wish I could remember the name of the bar
it's not a very well known place it's kind of
