No Reverb Added. Formed in 1995, the Storioni Trio Amsterdam has worked with members of the Emerson Quartet, the Vermeer Quartet, and the Altenberg Trio Wien. It has a wide-ranging repertoire, including new compositions by contemporary composers. The trio is featured regularly on radio and television. In addition to performing in the important concert halls in the Netherlands, it has made tours through India, the Middle East, Japan, and the United States and has performed at Wigmore Hall in London and Weill Recital Hall in New York. It has made four recordings, including the complete piano works by Shostakovich. The Storioni Trio Amsterdam took its name from the Laorentius Storioni violin made in Cremona in 1794, played by Wouter Vossen.
