The state paused the use of the J&J vaccine on April 13th over concerns at a cons blood clots. The vaccine is also tied to the deaths of three people. Over 7 million Americans had received the one-shot jab before the FDA and CDC halted its use. In Missouri, 105,000 residents received the vaccine, including patients at a two-day mass vaccination event at Missouri State and Springfield. The vaccine now comes with a disclaimer that it could cause blood clots and possible death. According to the Missouri State Department of Health on Sunday, 36% of all maserians have received at least one shot of a COVID-19 vaccine, while nearly 26% are fully vaccinated.
