- This episode is a reversion featuring segments from previous episodes as well as new segments. The episode begins with Walk like a man, a rebroadcast of a segment that originally aired as a part of episode 1209, discusses gay harassment in high school. The learning curve, originally from episode 1301, examines religion in the classroom and an Arkansas public school administration's treatment of a gay student. Also from episode 1301, the Real to reel segment spotlights Hell house, George Ratliff's documentary about a Christian fundamentalist haunted house. The No place to go segment, originally from episode 1306, looks at Newark LGBT activists and parents seeking a center for their city's gay youth nearly a year after the hate-driven murder of Sakia Gunn. Off the streets: Host Home, a segment that originally aired on episode 1305, focuses on gay homeless youth placed in the homes of gay couples in Minnesota. The Good VIBErations segment features editor-in-chief of Vibe magazine, Emil Wilbekin, and is a rebroadcast of a segment from episode 1109. The Out takes segment with Harvey Fierstein is titled Freedom of and from. PSAs are provided by the Lisa/Gill Foundation, Maple Flagg, Judy Shepard, Bill Thomas (talking about youth in Massachusetts), and Jade Estrada (discussing the Minority AIDS Council). Everything is everything by Lauryn Hill plays over the end credits.
