Interview with Political candidate
- Transcript
I'm a big supporter of education. It's sad what I see happening in our schools because once again, I've been overseas. I don't remember what our rank is. Couple of years ago, it's 26. And I'm pretty sure we were behind Pakistan and some other what we would presume to be third world countries and standards. And I don't know where we are now, but I'm sure it's a lot lower. I think we need to refocus the way we teach our kids. And I don't mean internet teaching because from what I see, the last four months has been a failure. They haven't had hands-on teachers. My two grandchildren probably heard from their teacher for like, you know, between one and three minutes a day. So basically the parents was cast. The parent that worked was cast to teach the kids when she wasn't working. And our children need, I think, a higher level of education so we can remain competitive.
