Program Description
This half-hour documentary program explores the making of a commercial film, Carl Foreman's The Victors, while on location in the mountain village of Compagnia, in Italy. The Intruders covers many aspects of location filming and shows the impact of a commercial crew on a small foreign village the documentary contains pictures of the photographing of The Victors, interviews and conversations with some of the actors, and a good amount of insight into the techniques of documentary filmmaking. Description
The Intruders has been produced by one of Englands leading documentary filmmakers, Denis Mitchell. It covers the making of a commercial film, Carl Foremans The Victors, while Foreman is on location in the Italian mountain village of Compagna. Mitchell covers many aspects of location filming and shows the impact of a commercial crew on a small foreign village. The documentary contains shots of the filming of The Victors as well as interviews and conversation with some of the actors in the picture.
