- Here & Now, skyward controversary, Reed Hall is the new CEO of the semi-private Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. He’ll outline the corp’s job and business agenda. He’ll also speak to the Steven Point Skyward controversy. skyward controversary, Stevens Point Mayor Andrew Halverson joins us via poly-com at UWSP. The Mayor is upset with the Dept. of Administration and Dept. of Public Instruction’s choice to bypass a Stevens Point software company called Skyward in order to contract with a Minnesota software to provide a state-wide network of student information. Skyward was already providing those services for districts in approximately half the state. This segment will be followed by sound on the subject from legislative leaders as well as statements from DOA and DPI. skyward controversary, Skywardsot will be sound from Robin Vos and Peter Barca about controversy of a Stevens Point software company losing a state contract to an out-of-state firm. mental health, Mental health sot will be sound from Robin Vos announcing bi-partisan Task Force on Mental Health. mental health, State Representative Sandy Pasch is in the Madison studio. Democrat Pasch is the Vice-Chair of Republican Speaker Robin Vos’s Task Force on Mental Health. Pasch is also a mental health nurse and former nursing professor. The Task Force’s work coincides with $29 million for mental health programs announced by Gov. Walker this week that is headed into his budget proposal. mining, Phoner with Shawn Johnson of WPR who is traveling with a contingent of lawmakers touring proposed iron mining lands in Northern Wisconsin.
