Friday, April 9th at 7 a.m. is when Freeman to hospital in Joplin will start its vaccination clinic to any Missouri resident 18 years or older. The date also marks the opening of eligibility for all Missouri adults. Freeman received its first shipment of the vaccine December 20, 2020, and has since provided almost 16,000 doses to Freeman's staff and the public. The hospital is scheduled to give 1,200 doses this week. Appointments can be made in advance for the April 9th clinic. Those wanting a vaccination can call 417-502 shot to register for the vaccine or they can preregister online at freemanhealth.com or slash COVID-19. Pre-registration will prompt a return call from a Freeman employee to schedule a vaccination appointment. For KRPS, I'm Fred Fletcher-Fierro in Web City.
