But yeah, it was, it was a lot of fun. Get to meet a lot of really interesting, awesome people out there. And it's kind of neat having connections with other people who are just as passionate about helping small businesses as you are. So it was, it was a lot of fun. Obviously agree with everything Mindy said. I was able to take away things for my clients. So I was able to actually get recertified in QuickBooks and learned a few things about time management that I thought were good. And then I'm trying to focus more on the human resources side of what a client might need in their business. So hiring employees, firing employees, employee handbook. So I was able to get a lot of good information on human resource stuff. So that's going to be my next focus. There's roughly throughout the week of the conference. There's over 140 different workshops. But of course, we don't have the time to go to all of them as much as we would like to. But so we kind of have to kind of depending on what lane you're in as an advisor and what you want to bring home to your clients.
You kind of have to tailor your schedule to what classes you want to take, what ones you want to learn about. For me, a lot of my classes were marketing workshops. So I learned a lot about marketing, search engine optimization. I learned some things I didn't know about. So that was a lot of fun. One of my favorite classes actually was marketing meetup. And that's where I was in a room with marketing professionals from other SBDCs across the country. And we all talked about marketing strategy, social media, website development. So it was a lot of fun. So got to meet a lot of really deep people doing that.
