Episode Description
The episode begins with Let the music play, offering a historical look at circuit parties, a type of gay dance party, and the controversies surrounding them. In Tikkum olam, lesbian rabbis face issues surrounding their sexuality and faith. In the Off the streets: Host Homes segment, gay homeless youth are placed in the homes of gay couples in Minnesota. The Campaign 2004: Howard Dean segment profiles Howard Dean. The Real to reel segment is about the film Dangerous living, which focuses on homosexuals living in third world countries. In the Aging with AIDS segment, older gay men discuss issues surrounding aging and living with AIDS. The Out takes segment with Harvey Fierstein is titled Being useful. Judy Shepard gives a PSA on the founding of the Matthew Shepard Foundation, and Judith Light provides the Celebrity ID. All that jazz as performed by Bebe Neuwirth plays over the end credits.
