Here & Now, ban on gay marriage unconstitutional, U.S. District Court Judge Barbara Crabb ruled that Wisconsin's 2006 ban on same-sex marriage is unconstitutoinal. It violates plaintiffs' fundamental right to marry and their right to equal protection of laws under the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constiution. Eight Wisconsin couples sued over the amendment. new restrictions on coal emissions, Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce Government Relations V.P. Scott Manley talks about what he sees are the negative impact(s) of the new emission standards in Wisconsin. new restrictions on coal emissions, Keith Reopelle of Clean Wisconsin appears in the Madison studio to talk about his support of the EPA’s new rules on coal emissions and it’s impact in Wisconsin. B-roll of coal production from PBS NewsHour, BadgerCare and Affordable Care Act, U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin has been calling on the Governor to provide information about 63, 000 people who lost BadgerCare and whether they’ve enrolled through the marketplace, as was the Governor’s intended course, saying the federal government approved his plan on the condition the state would track those people’s healthcare enrollment. Well, the Governor shot back with a letter suggesting otherwise. This week, I asked her about her reaction. George was recalled from his state Senate seat in 2003, and later went to prison after pleading guilty to federal corruption charges. federal school lunch program, Pam Harris, school dietician in Mukwanago, appears via poly from Waukesha. She’ll talk about her school’s plans to leave the new federal school lunch program (as championed by Michelle Obama) and return to a private vendor.
