Britt Reid

- Transcript
In early February of this year, just three days before the chiefs were set to play the Tampa Bay Bucks in Super Bowl 55, son of Kansas City head coach Andy Reed, hit two cars as he was getting on Interstate 435 near our head stadium. At a bond hearing Monday, Jackson County judge, Jessica Agnelli, said that no driving addition was mistakenly ended to his bond. Although Reed will have to drive with a device that tests his blood alcohol level before starting his car, Reed struck two vehicles and injured two children, one of them a five-year-old girl suffered a traumatic brain injury. Reed was charged over two months later with driving while intoxicated. According to police, he was driving 83 miles per hour and had a blood alcohol level, a 0.1131 tested about two hours after the crash. The legal limit in Missouri is 0.08, the chiefs placed him on administrative leave following the crash and chose not to renew his contract. For K-R-P-S, I'm Fred Fletcher-Fierro in Web City.
