Description
Episode Description
Elmo, Zoe, Rosita and some friends are making a beautiful block house together but can't agree whether to put a square or circle on top. Alan helps them solve the problem by having them raise their hands for the one they like best. After counting up the votes, the square wins by one. Later, Zoe and Elmo want to sing a song but Zoe wants to sing "Twinkle-Twinkle" and Elmo wants to sing "Row-Row-Row". Voting helped solve the problem last time but this time it's a tie, even with Rocco and Dorothy voting too. Alan explains that since both sides have the same number of votes they need one more voter to decide which one wins. Telly becomes the tie breaker but wants Zoe and Elmo to convince him which to choose. They take turns showing Telly brand new, fun ways to sing their songs. Telly says that it's too hard to decide and wishes they could be voting on something simple like who wants to do "The Triangle Dance". Elmo, Dorothy, Zoe and Rocco all agree that it sounds like fun. It's unanimous! Everyone votes for "The Triangle Dance" and they all dance together.
Description
The fairies are happy that it is time for recess and they race outside to go on the slide. Suddenly, the slide starts to shake and lift into the air before anyone can go down, and Abby discovers that there is a Playground Troll underneath. He tells the fairies that they cannot have the slide back unless they solve his Impossible Playground Problem, which is to name five things in the playground that start with the letter 'S'. Abby, Gonnigan, and Blogg name the slide, swing, sand, socks, and sparkles. The Playground Troll gives them back their slide, but now they must solve another Impossible Playground Problem to play on the swings. They have to build a castle using only things they find in the playground and they can't use magic. They twinkle think some ideas and Gonnigan suggests they try sand. They grab a bucket, add some water, and make a great sandcastle. The Playground Troll gives them back their swings and grumbles away. The fairies now head to the jungle gym, but once again the Playground Troll beats them there and gives them one more Impossible Playground Problem, which is to find an octagon. They twinkle think again and fly up high to look at the playground from above. They see that the jungle gym is in the shape of an octagon - it has eight sides and eight angles! The Playground Troll grumbles away for good, and Blogg decides he'd like to continue the fun and spend the rest of recess solving more problems.
Description
You are Elmo's Vice-President and together, you and Elmo imagine today's story, "President Elmo The Musical!" President Elmo has a big problem- the first lady, the first painting and first sheep all go missing! The phone rings and it's the pentagon, a shape with five sides and five angels, who informs Elmo that there is a problem of the first order- someone is stealing all the firsts! Elmo wants to figure out the problem, but first he has to throw out the first pitch at a baseball game. Elmo is about to throw the first pitch when one of the baseball players tells him that the first base and baseman have been stolen. And now the ball is gone, too! Elmo decides to dress up in a #1 costume, since that's the first of all the numbers. When the thief comes for the #1, they can jump out and catch him. All of a sudden #2 grabs Elmo and tries to steal him. The Sheepret Service come to his rescue and the #2 admits that she is the thief! She sings to Elmo about how hard it is to always be second. Elmo says that #2 can try being first, so they count, "2, 1, 3" but it doesn't sound right. Even #2 has second thoughts and admits that it's just confusing. Second place is where she belongs. Elmo gives #2 a second chance and they dance together. Then, all of the characters in the story join them on stage for a final bow.
