The AAPB is committed to complying with copyright law. Unfortunately, this means that sometimes we are unable to make available materials that you would like to see online. Most AAPB users understand this, and comply with our terms and conditions. However, recently, a user improperly downloaded episodes of Sesame Street that were restricted to AAPB premises. The restriction was based on both our agreement with the creators of Sesame Street and copyright law. AAPB has arranged for takedown of these episodes from the Internet Archive and YouTube, and has tightened security. For now, we have been forced to remove any AAPB access to Sesame Street with the exception of five programs for which we have received permission to make them available for research, educational, and informational purposes only. The archive will still be available on premises at the Library of Congress Moving Image Research Center to all registered users. We regret that the actions of a few irresponsible Sesame Street fans mean that other fans are now deprived of legal access to this cultural treasure on AAPB. We thank you for your understanding. - Episode Description
- The fairies are happy that it is time for recess and they race outside to go on the slide. Suddenly, the slide starts to shake and lift into the air before anyone can go down, and Abby discovers that there is a Playground Troll underneath. He tells the fairies that they cannot have the slide back unless they solve his Impossible Playground Problem, which is to name five things in the playground that start with the letter 'S'. Abby, Gonnigan, and Blogg name the slide, swing, sand, socks, and sparkles. The Playground Troll gives them back their slide, but now they must solve another Impossible Playground Problem to play on the swings. They have to build a castle using only things they find in the playground and they can't use magic. They twinkle think some ideas and Gonnigan suggests they try sand. They grab a bucket, add some water, and make a great sandcastle. The Playground Troll gives them back their swings and grumbles away. The fairies now head to the jungle gym, but once again the Playground Troll beats them there and gives them one more Impossible Playground Problem, which is to find an octagon. They twinkle think again and fly up high to look at the playground from above. They see that the jungle gym is in the shape of an octagon - it has eight sides and eight angles! The Playground Troll grumbles away for good, and Blogg decides he'd like to continue the fun and spend the rest of recess solving more problems.
